HPS:
Lughnassadh is the first of the harvest sabbats, also known as Lammas, Cornicopia, and Thing Tide. The wheel of the year turns on and on bringing us too and from each season.
What was will be, All time is here, And now inside this sacred space, We pause briefly to watch the wheel turn. And we gather on this blessed eve so that we may celebrate this season of lughnasadh the first of the harvest season, especially of the grain, corn, rice, millet, oats and wheat. In this moment between time we come to praise the bountiful Goddess and benevolent God. So this night we celebrate the harvest and charge the waters of life.
