Fairy dancers, ones of Flame
We call you from the desert in which you slumber

The spark of passion, the tiniest flame,
And the light of the stars

Fey of the water, webbed footed healers

The cauldron of knowledge, the blood flowing through our veins, and the calming summer rains

Fey of the earth, keepers of the mounds

Guardians of that which is unknown

Welcome to the feast of the Fey,
This is a celebration in which the Celts lit balefires to bring back and celebrate the rebirth of the sun. But this is also the time in which the Fey, who are known in Ireland as the Tuatha De Dannan. This is the time in which the Unseelie Court and the Wild Hunt goes to slumber and the Seelie Court, or goodly Fey take over rule of the land.
As this is a celebration of Light, merriment and mirth are the biggest draws for the company of Fey. Well that and good food. So I invite each of you, to as the cliché goes, eat, drink, and be merry. Forget your adult worries and embrace that child who remembers the first time they heard a fairy tale and dreamed of it. Share your tales, your memories, your friendship, your bad or tasteless jokes and enjoy talking with that little five year old that still lives inside.
